Project: PY24 CDBG City of Wadsworth Sidewalk Replacement Project Location: City of Wadsworth, Medina County Description: Remove and replace existing sidewalks in West & East Walnut Streets, East Bergey Street and portions of South Main Street and Bird Street. The City of Wadsworth is not obligated to respond to, or otherwise act upon, a Pre-Bid Question submitted after this deadline but reserves the right to act upon any information received. Question Deadline 09/18/2025 at 4:30 PM ET Should a question arise at any time during the examination of Bid Documents or investigation of the site, the Bidder may seek clarification by submitting a Pre-Bid Question to Engineer Glenn Davis, City of Wadsworth, at gdavis@wadsworthcity.org. The City of Wadsworth will provide a response to all questions submitted. Responses to Pre-Bid Questions will be provided by Addendum, a copy of which will be emailed or faxed to each person receiving a set of Bidding Documents. All bids must be accompanied by a bid guarantee in the form of either: A certified check or cashier's check made payable to the Medina County Commissioners or a letter of credit meeting the requirements of Chapter 1305 of the Ohio Revised Code, in an amount equal to 10 percent of the bid amount conditioned to provide that if the bid is accepted, the bidder will enter into a proper contract for the work: or A Bid Guaranty and Performance Bond, for the full amount of the bid, written upon an acceptable surety company authorized to do business in the State of Ohio, conditioned as provided in Section 153.571 of the Ohio Revised Code. A form of this bond is included in the Project Manual. All construction must be completed by November 30, 2025. Bidders must comply with Davis-Bacon and Related Acts (Federal prevailing wage). The bid will be awarded to the lowest and/or best bidder.
