Site work for a water / sewer project in Center Township, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The scope of work generally includes installation of approximately 450 linear feet of 48" corrugated polyethylene culvert pipe; and 850 linear feet of structural pipe lining. Additional work includes manholes, inlets, precast concrete headwalls/endwalls, 6" SDR-26 PVC service sewer, SDR-26 PVC wye branches, guide rail replacement, R-5 riprap aprons and restoration. The contract also provides for pre- and post-construction CCTV and smoke/dye testing; jet cleaning; root cutting; locating existing utilities; maintenance and protection of traffic; erosion and sedimentation control measures and field engineering for a complete project. Any technical questions regarding the bid documents are to be directed to LSSE. Interested parties may contact the Township for access information prior to the date and time identified herein. Pennsylvania prevailing wage rates apply. Proposals must be upon the forms furnished by the Township. The bid must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the bid, made payable to the Township of Center. The Township reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive any informalities in the bidding. No bid may be withdrawn for ninety (90) calendar days after the scheduled time for receipt of bids.
