The scope of work to be performed by the Contractor shall generally include, but not be limited to, the following as necessary to complete the work 1. As indicated within the pictures included within Appendix F of these Specifications, all work necessary for the preparation, priming and recoating of the exterior surfaces of the components that generally constitute both the sump-water pumping system and the non-potable water supply system located in the basement of the Intermediate Pumping Station (IPS) located within the GPSD Wastewater Treatment Plant, that has and address of 2322 S. Darst St. in Peoria, IL. Exterior surfaces from which existing coatings shall be removed, prepped to the manufacturer's specifications and recoated (all as specified within these Specifications) shall include, but not necessarily be limited to, the following: all components of the system designed for the pumping and conveyance of the sump in the location specified above, except for those items either listed below or specified as not to be coated/recoated within the pictures made part of the appendices. Components to be coated/recoated include, but are not limited to, pipes, fittings, valve bodies, flanges, bolts, nuts, handles, supports, caps, etc.; all components of the system designed for the pumping and conveyance of non-potable water in the location specified above, except for those items either listed below or specified as not to be coated/recoated within the pictures made part of the appendices. Components to be coated/recoated include, but are not limited to, pipes, fittings, valve bodies, flanges, bolts, nuts, handles, supports, caps, gusset plates of expansion joints, filter bodies, reducers, etc. Question Deadline 09/24/2025 Any such request, including requests for substitution of specified item(s), shall be submitted in writing to the Engineer a minimum of five (5) business days prior to the start of the Bid Acceptance Period. Description: Exterior recoating of select piping in the interior of the District's Intermediate Pumping Station (IPS) that is a process in the District's wastewater treatment facility.
