Site work and renovation of a civil project in Chenango, New York. Design plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.
Project work includes: Upgrade the existing 12A Well to increase its pumping capacity to 1,000 GPM Groundwater investigations to develop one (1) new well site (eight target locations identified), and installation of associated well building and piping to connect to the Town's existing distribution system Water main extensions to tie in the Maplewood Service Area to the Poplar Hill Service Area, Chenango Heights Service Area to the Maplewood Service Area, and Maplewood Service Area to the Runacre Service Area Decommission the Maplewood, Applewood, and Northgate Wells Replacement of undersized water mains Pump station upgrades Hydrant replacement Metering upgrades As of September 8, 2025, this project is in the design phase. An engineer has been selected for the project. Information regarding the general contractor selection timeline has not been disclosed. A firm construction timeline has not been established.
