The University of Massachusetts - Lowell, the Awarding Authority, invites sealed bids from contractors for the UMLOW-2026-0942 Wheel Chair Lift Replacement.\\General bids must be accompanied by a bid deposit that is not less than five (5%) of the greatest possible bid amount (considering all alternates) and made payable to the University of Massachusetts - Lowell. PROJECT DESCRIPTION The scope of work includes, but is not limited to, the following items: A. The Base Bid shall include all labor, equipment, materials, and accessories necessary to perform all work associated with the Weed Hall Chairlift Replacement Project, in accordance with the contract document. The work includes but not limited to the followings: 1. Decommissioning and removal of existing vertical platform lift (state ID# 160-W-706. 2. Proper disposal of the decommissioned lift. 3. Installation of new vertical platform lift (replacement in kind or approved equal). B. Supply all necessary disposal facilities, transportation, and labor necessary to dispose of all demolished materials, and construction debris off-site in a legal dumping area. The Contractor shall obtain all permits necessary to transport and dispose of all materials, rubbish, and debris. C. Clean and restore all areas affected by the work All required documents must be uploaded in the Questions Section.
