Clover Road Bridge Replacement The Scope of Work under this contract includes demolition and removal of the existing bridge, installation of new precast reinforced concrete culvert, roadway restoration, the installation of new guide rail and other associated work at the road crossings. Questions Due Date: Sep 26th 2025, 4:00 PM EDT Questions Due Date Online Portal Bid security shall be submitted with each bid, in form of a certified check or bank draft, payable to the order of the Emerald Lakes Association, or a satisfactory Bid Bond executed by the Bidder and an acceptable surety, or cash, in an amount equal to 10 percent (10%) of the total amount bid. The successful Bidder will be required to furnish and pay for satisfactory performance and payment bonds, each in the amount of not less than one-hundred percent (100%) of the awarded contract amount. An acceptable surety company is anyone included in the latest of the U.S. Treasury Department Circular 570 listings and authorized by the PA Department of insurance to do business in Pennsylvania. The ELA Board of Directors reserves the right to reject any or all bids or parts thereof, to waive any technicalities in bidding, and to award the contract it deems in the best interests of the ELA and shall not be required to accept the lowest bid. Project Overview - The project is located in Emerald Lakes Association in Tunkhannock Township, Monroe County, PA. The bridge is located along Clover Road. This project is within the private Right-of-Ways of Emerald Lakes Association. The scope of the work under this contract includes demolition and removal of the existing bridge, installation of new precast reinforced concrete culvert, roadway restoration, installation of guide rail and other associated work at one road crossing. There is a GP-6 permit associated with the project. This permit and conditions are located in Appendix B. Contact PA Fish and Boat Commission at least 10 days prior to start of work. This is in section 331 of the Contract Documents and Specifications. No work shall be performed in the regulatory floodway of Dry Sawmill Run between October 1 and December 31 without prior written approval from the PA Fish and Boat Commission.
