To acquire a qualified offeror to assist with Urban Planning to fuel Small Area Plans. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time. CONTRACT COMMENCEMENT AND EXPIRATION: The contract shall commence on the Commencement Date set forth in the contract for Urban Planning Consultant and shall expire three (3) years later, unless terminated earlier in accordance with the provisions of this Contract. EXTENSION OF CONTRACT: The Town reserves the right to extend the contract for any reason for a period or periods up to but not to exceed 12 months. This extension may be exercised when the Town determines that an extension of the Contract is advantageous to the Town. Any extensions beyond the 12 months will be subject to the Town's renewal clause as set forth in the contract. This provision in no way affects or alters the Town's ability to renew the Contract consistent with the renewal clause. RENEWAL: The Town, at its sole option, may renew this Contract for up to four (4) one-year renewal terms by furnishing the Contractor with written notice of its decision to renew thecontract at least 60 calendar days before the expiration of the then-current term.
