CONTRACT COMMENCEMENT AND EXPIRATION: The contract shall commence on the Commencement Date set forth in the contract for Snow and Ice Removal shall expire three (3) years later, unless terminated earlier in accordance with the provisions of this Contract. EXTENSION: The Town reserves the right to extend the Contract for any reason for a period or periods up to but not to exceed 12 months. This extension may be exercised when the Town determines that an extension of the Contract is advantageous to the Town. RENEWAL: The Town, at its sole option, may renew this Contract for two (2) one-year renewal terms by furnishing the Contractor with written notice of its decision to renew at least 60 calendar days before the expiration of the then-current term.
