An addition of a 6,400 SF single story aircraft hangar operated by the IAARNG to an existing 8,000 SF aircraft hangar operated by the Iowa Department of Public Safety. The addition includes hangar space for a single aircraft, office, support and maintenance spaces. The addition will be a pre-engineered metal building frame with metal panel cladding. The sitework consists of underground utility work in and around the site, concrete sidewalk, and parking and roadway paving, The MEPT infrastructure systems will be served by domestic water, sanitary, storm, power, and telecom utilities. Mechanical and Plumbing systems include HVAC units and distribution ductwork, plumbing fixtures, underground plumbing systems, and radiant heaters in the hangar space. Electrical and technology systems include electrical service power and distribution, lighting, and data and audio-visual systems. This project is subject to the Build America, Buy America Act (BABAA) requirements under Title IX of the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act ("IIJA"), Pub. L. 177-58.
