Reference Number 0000302024 bjective: RCMP VAC requests the following work: This is a Non-Tenant direct with a D4 priority and an X1 qualifier: Seed funding - This requirement is for an automated gate system with attached fencing as well as a man gate and pedestal (with fit up for card reader and AI phone). Also additional ornamental fencing on adjacent brick walls. Additional Description: Supply and install a fully automated driveway slide gate and an automatically controlled sidewalk door for pedestrians at the east entrance encompasses an array of components, equipment, posts, foundations, openers, card readers, astragal and shield for locking mechanism, exit vehicle detection loop, photo eye sensors, entry terminal concrete island with card read, intercom, and bollards, etc. The selected slide gate and sidewall door shall be 8-foot high, black color and must be able to be manually operated in case there is a power outage. Visuals are required for the intercom system. To ensure the security integrity of the east gate, an additional 8-foot-high, black color fence between the exterior wall of the main building and the existing entrance wall shall be supplied and installed. In addition, 2-2.5 foot high black color metal fence shall be supplied and installed above the existing brick walls (approximately 5.5 – 6 foot high) between the east entrance and main building and between the east entrance and the post building. Modify existing security system programming to accommodate the new installed automatic gate systems. Once the automatic gate systems are installed, testing and commissioning shall be performed to ensure that they are installed and operated per design requirements and meet GOC security standards. Complete testing and commissioning documents with the templates to be provided by the project commissioning agent. Perform all necessary civil work for gates and associated electrical conduits/wires installation, such as excavation and backfilling. Perform all structural work such as installing foundation of the posts and supports for automatic gate systems, fencing, an island for access control and safety bollards, etc. Perform necessary drilling, patching, fire stopping, waterproofing, and painting of affected walls and building structure/ envelope during electrical system/components and associated conduit installation. Supply and install 15A/1P circuit breaker in the BP-B02.EB2 emergency power panel located in the room B02. Supply and install electrical service (wires/conduit/supports) from panel BPB02. EB2 to the automatic gate operator control panel as indicated. Supply and install wires/conduit/supports from the existing main building room 1101 to the automatic gate kinetic operator, vehicle gate card reader and intercom on entry terminal island, and pedestrian gate card reader and electric strike. Supply, install and terminate field wirings from the automatic gate kinetic operator to photoeye sensors (supplied by the vendor) and vehicle detection loops (supplied and installed by contractor) as per manufacturer’s recommendation. Supply and install conduits and junction box for future CCTV installation, including fitting, supports, fish wires from the existing security room to the proposed CCTV location as indicated. The contractor/vendor shall provide automatic gate system training to BGIS O&M personnel and security staff. Refer to drawings and specs for full scope of work.
