The contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, and services necessary to inspect and test approximately 309 fire dampers at the Little Rock and North Little Rock VA Medical Centers. All work must comply with the Scope of Work (SOW), NFPA standards, local building codes, VA facility standards, and other applicable requirements. The period of performance is 90 days. The contractor is responsible for testing each fire damper to ensure operational status and code compliance, making dampers accessible, performing necessary repairs, cleaning, lubricating, and creating access hatches or recommending further actions. Fire dampers identified for removal or disabling must be handled per NFPA code, with appropriate mechanical disabling, insulation patching, and use of approved firestop and acoustical caulk materials. Any removal from the inspection/testing list must be approved by the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR). The inspection schedule requires 103 units to be inspected within each 30-day phase over the 90-day contract period. Preferred units may be prioritized to meet six-year inspection timelines, and remaining work will be phased and coordinated with the VA COR.
