Description

Renovation of a medical facility in Abbotsford, British Columbia. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a medical facility.

A Hybrid Operating Room is an advanced procedural space that combines a traditional operating room with an image guided Interventional suite. This combination allows for highly complex, advanced surgical procedures to be performed. The ARH OR to be renovated is located on the 4th floor of the hospital. A feasibility report has been produced to illustrate potential modifications to convert 1 of 9 existing operating rooms including adjacent support spaces into a Hybrid Operating Room. TIMELINE: Fraser Health Authority (Health Organization) is seeking Expressions of Interest from Proponents who are interested in responding to a detailed Request for Proposal for Prime/Architectural Services for the ARHCC Hybrid OR Project. *To: All architectural firms prequalified by the Health Authorities for acute care projects greater than $5M.
