The Forest Preserve District of Kane County is seeking qualified firms for the professional design of an Urban Ecology Field Station at Arlene Shoemaker Forest Preserve. Design services will be in two (2) phases, and a maxi mum of (3) firms will be interviewed. The Forest Preserve District of Kane County is seeking qualified firms for the professional design of an Urban Ecology Field Station at Arlene Shoemaker Forest Preserve in Aurora. In accordance with the project scope, Professional Design services required for this Project will be in two phases. Phase I will include the following: Project Kick-off, space needs analysis, site analysis, schematic design, concepts (minimum of 3) and the preparation of documents to the level that the District can submit for a future Park and Recreational Facility Construction Grant (PARC). Phase II will begin after a successful grant award and will include the following: Design Development, Construction Documents, Construction Observation and Administrative Services including project close out with digital as-built drawings.
