Reference Number 0000301993 Question Acceptance Deadline 2025/09/18 02:00:00 PM CDT The Workers Compensation Board of Manitoba (WCB) invites firms to submit a Proposal for the following: To provide electrical maintenance for the WCB's office facilities located in Winnipeg, Manitoba, which will include, but not be limited to, running of circuitry in conduit or cable, testing of systems, including low voltage lighting and uninterruptable power supplies, tracing out of circuitry, running of computer data cables and terminating ends. Project Background The WCB requires a Contractor to provide electrical system maintenance for the WCB's office facilities located in Winnipeg, Manitoba, which will include, but not be limited to, running of circuitry in conduit or cable, testing and repairing of systems, including low voltage lighting and uninterruptable power supplies, tracing out of circuitry, running of computer data cables and terminating ends. Description of Services The WCB requires a company to provide electrical maintenance services at the WCB's office facilities located in Winnipeg, Manitoba. In the 2024 calendar year the WCB spent approximately Thirty -Five Thousand Dollars ($35,000.00) on electrical works. The Services may include, but not be limited to, running of circuitry in conduit or cable, testing and repairing of electrical systems, including low voltage lighting and uninterruptable power supplies, tracing out of circuitry, running of computer data cables, and terminating ends. In delivering the Services, the Contractor shall ensure that the WCB's office facilities remain fully functional during business hours, and will result in no loud noises during Business Hours. The Services must be performed by licensed and properly trained personnel, with work permits obtained by the Contractor on the WCB's behalf, as required. No minimum service volume will be committed to any particular Contractor and the WCB reserves the right to use multiple Contractors for delivery of the Service, as determined necessary in the unfettered discretion of the WCB. The Services shall normally be performed during Business Hours. However, the WCB may request some of the Services to be performed outside Business Hours to ensure uninterrupted facility operations, as determined necessary in the unfettered discretion of the WCB. The Contractor shall not be entitled to charge overtime for such Services unless specified in the Fee Schedule. Each Vendor is expected to describe its electrical work experience in Manitoba. Vendor can comment on direct WCB work experience. The Vendor must have experience and knowledge with the following: a) Commercial office electrical installation experience; b) Experience working in occupied facilities; c) Experience with standard data line running and terminating; The Proposal should include an overview of the proposed resource(s) being offered, including profiles of work which highlight their experience performing similar projects.
