The crane will be installed to span and travel across the three southwestern bays of the SRE, as shown in the attached drawings. The SRE building was originally designed to accommodate a R&M 5-Ton Crane, and existing mounting brackets are already in place on the vertical steel supports (see Supplement 1). R&M Material Handling 5 Ton x 38' Span Bridge Crane. 16' Hook Height, to be placed in existing Snow Removal Equipment (SRE) Building between gridlines 2 and 6 on existing rail brackets as shown in photo below. In addition to supplying fully functional bridge crane, pricing shall include steel members spanning between PEMB frames, crane rail and other equipment required for installation and use, and installation of electrical for powering unit. Final Span Dimension, Required Clearances, and Installation Dimensions to be verified by Contractor/Crane Supplier prior to install. Verify Beam Travel requirements with Airport. The successful Contractor will provide a turnkey installation including crane equipment, steel runway beam, electrical connections, and all required labor and materials to deliver a fully operational crane system. . Technical Requirements o The proposed crane shall meet or exceed the specifications of the R&M 5-Ton Crane (provided with this RFP). o Equivalent models from other manufacturers will be considered if they meet or exceed these specifications. o Specifications and product details for the proposed crane must be submitted with each proposal.
