As of December 17, 2025, this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for award has not yet been established. The project consists of, but is not necessarily limited to, construction of approximately 10,000 feet of 24-inch water main, associated water services, and incidental restoration on Cross Street including a bore and jack railroad crossing. Water services will be full replacements from the main to 18 inches inside the home and include new meter pits. These items of work contain other miscellaneous items necessary and as specified to make this project complete. Question Deadline 09/22/2025 Bidder shall submit all questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents to Engineer in writing. Questions received less than seven days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered. The City of Anderson reserves the right to accept any bid, reject any or all bids, to waive informalities and make the award in any manner deemed in the best interest of the City of Anderson. The Owner reserves the right to hold any or all Bids for a period of not more than ninety (90) days after the date on which the Bids are opened and, for such ninety (90) day period, all such Bids shall be in full force and effect. Any Bid may be withdrawn prior to the scheduled closing time for the receipt of Bids but no Bidder shall withdraw a Bid within the ninety (90) days after the actual opening of the Bids. Each contract is a separate project for the City of Anderson's water main replacement program. Each project is a stand-alone project, and specifications may vary between all four projects.
