Renovation of a mixed-use development in Avon, New York. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.

A Bid Bond or Certified Check made payable to the Owner in the amount of five percent (5%) of the Bid, subject to the conditions provided in the Instructions to Bidders, must be deposited by each Bidder with his Bid as a guarantee that, in the case the contract is awarded to him, he will then, ten days thereafter, execute such contract and furnish a satisfactory Performance and Payment Bond, and the Bidder shall not withdraw his Bid for a period of forty-five days after the above date of Bid opening, and to guarantee the performance of all other obligations of the Bidders as set forth in Instructions to Bidders. Pre-Bid Questions: All pre-bid questions or requests for information (RFI) shall be in writing and may be submitted in email format to all of the following:, donovan@ashleymcgraw.com and lok@ashleymcgraw.com. Verbal inquiries will not be accepted. Pre-bid questions will no longer be accepted after September 19th, 2025. All questions warranting response shall be addressed by addendum to all plan holders. Doc note: Bidders who register as a plan holder through the Printer may acquire the bidding and contract documents using the following options: Electronic Format: In an effort to be environmentally and fiscally conscious of paper use and consumption documents will be available as digital sets. The Contract Documents may be downloaded from the Avalon Document Services website in electronic format (printable .pdf files) to be acquired by prospective bidders for a non-refundable cost of $45.00. After receiving the files prospective Bidders may obtain paper copy prints of the documents, full set or partial set, at their own cost from Avalon Document Services or by taking the files to a printer of their choosing. Documents may also be viewed free of charge at the Plan Holder s website. The Board of Education hereby reserves the right to waive any informalities and reject any or all Bids or to accept the one that in its judgment will be for the best interest of the school district. WORK COVERED BY CONTRACT DOCUMENTS A. Project Description: 1. The project consists of general building improvements and renovations to existing buildings within the district and is entirely located on a contiguous property. B. Contract Documents were prepared for the Project by Ashley Architects, D.P.C., M/E Engineers, and AVL Designs Inc. dated September 2nd, 2025.- C. The Work will be constructed under multiple Prime Contractor Agreements. One set of Contract Documents are issued covering the multiple Prime Contracts. Prime Contracts are separate contracts between the Owner and independent contractors representing significant construction activities. Each Prime Contract is performed concurrently and closely coordinated with construction activities performed on the Project under other Prime contracts. Prime Contracts for this Project include: CONTRACT No. GC-1: General Trades Contract (GC) CONTRACT No. TC-1: Theatrical Contract (TC) CONTRACT No. EC-1: Electrical Contract (EC)
