Remodeling and renovation of a military facility in Morro Bay, California. Completed plans call for the remodel of a military facility; and for the renovation of a military facility.
The contractor shall remodel the first-floor kitchen and communications room and replace flooring throughout the three-story, 4,055 square foot building at USCG Station Morro Bay. Kitchen work includes removal and replacement of all cabinets, countertops, and appliances within a 95 square foot area, with final layout determined by the technical point of contact. Flooring replacement involves removing all carpet and floating flooring and installing commercial-grade, light grey, waterproof, abrasion-resistant luxury vinyl plank (LVP), with final color selection by the technical point of contact. Communications room modifications include removing faux walls and installing a high-quality partition with a full-size door and customer service counter to reduce noise and increase galley space. Electrical and IT cabling components must be relocated as needed. A new L-shaped communications center desk with pedestals will be provided and installed, subject to approval. The contractor is responsible for mobilization, daily cleanup, disposal of all removed materials, and demobilization, ensuring all areas are returned to their original condition. The final layout will be decided by the technical point of contact. Remodel the communications room by removing faux walls and installing a high-quality partition with a full-size door and customer service counter to enclose the space, reducing noise and increasing galley space. Remove and relocate electrical components and IT cabling as required for the communications room modifications. Provide and install a new "L" shaped communications center desk with pedestals, subject to approval by the technical POC. Replace all carpet and floating flooring throughout the three-story, 4,055 gross square foot building with commercial-grade light grey, waterproof, abrasion-resistant luxury vinyl plank (LVP) flooring. Final color to be decided by the technical POC. Mobilization, debris removal, disposal in accordance with environmental rules, daily cleanup, and demobilization with return of all areas to original condition.
