Site work for a mixed-use development in Napa, California. Conceptual plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; and water / sewer project.
This project will be developed in two phases - an initial planning phase, starting in FY26 followed by a construction phase. Project planning involves comprehensive planning and design of a new splash pad facility to be located within an existing city park. The scope includes site selection, environmental studies, conceptual design, design development, community engagement and CEQA. Furthermore, the project will confirm budgeting needs for construction and regulatory compliance for public aquatic facilities. The second phase of this project involves the construction of a new splash pad facility, complete with a recirculating system and restroom/shower facility to accommodate community-wide use and meet public health codes. The scope includes the preparation of detailed construction documentation outlining specifications, design plans, and compliance with safety and accessibility standards. Anticipated construction-related tasks include accessibility to the site, major utility improvements to provide adequate water, sewer, electrical and drainage connections, and site preparation to support the associated recreational equipment, pump equipment building and restroom/shower building. As of Sept 8, 2025, this project is included in the City's 2026-2030 Capital Improvement Program (CIP) *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP). A CIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly.
