Notice ID- 15B51425PR000149 Remove and replace the existing built-up roof (BUR) on Building 3 at FCI Seagoville with a fully adhered, reinforced thermoplastic polyolefin (TPO) single-ply reflective roofing membrane system. The work includes demolition of the existing roof down to the structural deck, installation of polyisocyanurate insulation with a minimum R-value of 30 in two staggered layers, and a fiberglass-faced gypsum cover board. The TPO membrane must be 60 mil thick and installed in compliance with ASTM D6878, with all flashing, fasteners, and sealants meeting manufacturer and industry standards. The system must be designed to withstand wind speeds up to 120 mph and include crickets or saddles for proper drainage. Additional scope includes replacing vent boots, installing new flashing and parapet cap systems, and performing rough framing with pressure-treated lumber where needed. All work must comply with NRCA, SMACNA, FM 1-120, ANSI/SPRI ES-1, and applicable federal, state, and local codes. Contractor responsibilities include obtaining all necessary permits, providing manufacturer-certified installers, maintaining daily site cleanliness, and disposing of all debris in accordance with regulations. Submittals must include equipment specifications, safety data sheets, and installation certifications. The contractor must provide a two-year workmanship warranty and a twenty-year material warranty. Work hours are Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, excluding federal holidays, and all contractor personnel must pass security clearance and attend orientation prior to site access.
