In general, the work involves, but is not limited to, selective clearing, excavation & grading, sheet pile installation, water control structure, new tile installation, plus a cistern & a pump system. This project includes around 8,725 CY of earthwork, 3,352 SF of sheet pile, 2,690 LF of various tile installation, 600 TN of riprap, 123 CY of grout, 72-inch RCP manhole, pump station installation, as wells as 14.5 acres of seeding.. The estimated construction cost range is $600,000 to $700,000. . *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. Bids must be submitted on the appropriate bid forms provided and shall include a bid bond in the amount of ten percent (10%). Bidders must also be registered with the Iowa Division of Labor The successful bidder shall be required to furnish a Performance/Payment Bond in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price. The Division reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive technicalities and irregularities.
