Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Russellville, Kentucky. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
The contract involves the construction of a new roadway extension including site grading, paving, street lighting, and stormwater drainage, and the extension of 1,950 LF of 8" and 10" water main to serve the West Industrial Park off U.S. 68/80, all in the city limits of Russellville, Kentucky. All listed iron and steel products used in this project must be produced in the United States. The term "iron and steel products" means the following products made primarily of iron or steel: lined or unlined pipes and fittings, manhole covers and other municipal castings, hydrants, tanks, flanges, pipe clamps and restraints, valves, structural steel, reinforced precast concrete, and construction materials. All bidders shall submit with their bid an acceptable bid bond or a certified check in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid, payable to the Owner. Minority bidders are encouraged to bid. Owner reserves the right to waive any informalities, to reject any or all bids, and to award to the bidder perceived by the Logan County IDA as offering the greatest advantage to the City. The Logan County IDA reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, to waive any technicality, and to accept any Bid which it deems advantageous.
