Central Heights ISD is seeking quotes from qualified lawn care and landscaping contractors for mowing services to be performed on school grounds throughout the year. The successful contractor will be responsible for maintaining a neat, safe, and professional appearance of all grass areas across the property, map attached. This is an annual contract, renewable at the discretion of the school administration based on performance and funding availability. Scope of Work The contractor shall provide: Routine Lawn Mowing Services: A minimum number of mowing visits per year. Increased mowing frequency during peak growing season of May through September Mowing to include trimming around buildings, fences, signs, and other obstacles, as well as removal of grass clippings from walkways and hard surfaces. Additional duties may include trimming of hedges and cleaning flower beds. Additional Mowing for Special Events: Capacity to provide additional mowing services before school events, sports games, or community gatherings for an additional agreed-upon fee. 3. Requirements for Bidders Interested contractors must meet the following criteria: Proof of Liability Insurance: Please submit your coverage amount Background Checks: All employees assigned to the school property must have passed a criminal background check. References: Provide at least two (2) references from similar contracts (preferably for schools or government entities). Equipment and Staffing Capacity: Demonstrate the ability to meet the mowing schedule consistently, including during high-growth months and on short notice for special events. The school reserves the right to reject any or all quotes and to award the contract in the best interest of the school.
