The purpose of this project is to replace the existing steel chain-link security fence and swinggates that surround the Steelton Well Site property, located at 391 Second Line West, Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario. The existing chain-link fence and appurtenances are generally in poor condition and require replacement. The fence contains damaged terminal posts, line posts, and missing top-rails at several locations around the property. Collapsed and unsupported chain-link sections are also visible along the north-east side of the property boundary. The new proposed steel chain-link fence and swing-gates are required to maintain well site security, cleanliness and uphold company image, while conforming to the latest building codes, city by-laws and design standards. The new proposed fence and swing-gates shall be 1.8 m (6 ft) high by approximately 310 m (1,017 ft) long.
