PROJECT NUMBER: KHA 118579022 TCA 20900-000 CRW 202558 S&W Project No. 25130 The proposed project will consist of the renovations of two existing spaces with-in the airport Terminal Building, to be done in two phases. Phase One will be the renovations of space in the lower level old restaurant area to create new offices and boardroom. Phase Two will be renovations to the existing administrative offices on the mezzanine level above the ticket area. Each proposal must be accompanied by a bid bond from a Surety Company acceptable to the Owner or a cashier's check or certified check made payable to the Tri-Cities Airport Authority for not less than 5 percent of the total amount of the bid. A 100% contract bond will be required upon successful bid as part of the execution of the project contracts. Proposals/bids are required to remain open for acceptance or rejection for the duration outlined in General Contract Provisions 30-02, but the Owner may, in its sole discretion, release any Bid and return the Bid security prior to that date. All bidders are responsible for compliance with State requirements for preparation and submission of the proposal. The successful bidder shall be responsible for compliance with State Requirements in the Contract Agreement. Contractor will be required to have a valid Tennessee Contractor's License Number on bid form and will be required to provide applicable major sub-contractor's name and license number by project commencement date. Event Bid Description: Envelopes containing proposals must be sealed, addressed to the Tri-Cities Airport Authority, 2525 Highway 75, Suite 305, Blountville, TN 37617 and marked with the Contractor's name, Classification, Expiration date and the following project title: Tri-Cities Airport - Terminal Building Administrative Office Renovations. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and/or all bids, to waive any informalities and technicalities in the bids received, to the extent permitted by applicable law, and to accept any bid which, in its sole discretion, is in the best interest of the Owner.
