Renovation of a medical facility in Lansing, Michigan. Completed plans call for the renovation of a medical facility.

Ingham County seeks proposals from qualified and experienced contractors to enter into a contract for the purpose of providing and installing, a new six-zone Public Address System. Paging will require a two to five digit code be entered for each zone including all-call. The new system will cover three floors plus the annex building and penthouse mechanical area. All work, including project clean-up shall be completed on or before February 1, 2026. SUPPLEMENTAL INFORMATION PA System Coverage Floor Plan for the East Wing PA System Coverage Floor Plan for the Crisis Care Center Prevailing Wage Determination. Each proposal must be accompanied by a bid guarantee in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total bid amount. Guarantee shall be in the form of a bid bond executed by an approved surety company, made payable to the County of Ingham. Bid guarantee shall run for a period of not less than ninety (90) days. If the successful proposer fails to furnish satisfactory performance and payment bonds and insurance certificates within ten (10) business days after receipt of Notice of Award, such guarantee shall be forfeited to the Owner as liquidated damages. Bidders who have not registered their company with Ingham County or have not updated their registration in the past three (3) years are requested to do so by visiting online. Vendors registering to provide goods and services to Ingham County under contract shall certify to their knowledge of the County's Equal Opportunity Employment / Non discrimination Policy, and of their agreement to comply, and shall disclose any conclusive findings of violations of Federal, State, or local equal opportunity statutes, ordinances, rules/regulations, or policies within the past three (3) years. It is the policy of Ingham County to require the payment of prevailing wages on any construction contract exceeding $10,000 as determined by using the wage guidelines promulgated by the U.S. Secretary of Labor pursuant to the Davis-Bacon Act. When a contract is in excess of $10,000 the awarded vendor is required to attend a pre-construction meeting with representatives from Ingham County Purchasing and Community Mental Health for the purpose of gathering information and discussing the progress schedule, requirements of the contract, and other pertinent information to successfully complete the project. CMH arranges the time and place for this preconstruction meeting. Any proposal that is in excess of $50,000.00, if awarded, will be required to provide 100 percent (100%) of the contract amount coverage in Performance Bond and Payment Bond as required by Public Act 1963, No. 213. The bond must be with surety companies satisfactory to Ingham County and who are listed in the Federal Register as published by the U.S. Department of Treasury under the most recently revised Circular 570. In addition, each surety company shall be admitted and licensed to do business in the State of Michigan by the Michigan Department of Labor and Economic Growth Office of Finance and Insurance and have a minimum A.M. Best Company's Insurance Report Rating of A or A- (Excellent). Responses to this RFP should be concise and must include all the requested information.
