System Improvements (Phase 1). The project consists of construction of 2,166 LF of 6" C900 PVC water line, 15 LF of 4" C900 PVC water line, 4 fire hydrant assemblies, 8 service connections, and ancillary fittings such as valves and bends. The project also includes the rehabilitation of the interior and exterior of a water tower and repairs to water well house piping. The project location is Haddam, KS in Washington County. Haddam is 3 miles north of the intersection of K-22 HWY and US-36 HWY. KDHE SRF funds will be utilized to fund this project. All Federal, State, and County regulations must be complied with. All bids shall be accompanied by a Bid Bond or a Certified or Cashiers check in the amount of 5% of the total bid. Checks or bonds are to be made payable to the City of Haddam and serve as a guarantee of the sincerity and integrity of the bidder, and shall be forfeited to the County if said proposal or bid is accepted and the bidder fails to execute the contract and file the required statutory and performance bonds as required in the contract documents. All contracts and subcontracts exceeding $100,000, at any tier under a SRF Loan Agreement shall comply with the AntiLobbying Act, Section 319 of Public Law 101-121, and file an Anti-Lobbying Certification form, and the Disclosure of Lobbying Activities form, if required, to the next tier above.
