Renovation of a residential development in Sharon, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for the renovation of a residential development.
Contractors for the Exterior Siding Replacement - Phase 2 at State Aided Development: Hixson Farms (667-1) in Sharon, Massachusetts, in accordance with the documents prepared by RGB ARCHITECTS. The Project consists of but not limited to: the removal and replacement of wood siding shakes with simulated wood siding. Installation of 2" insulated R-sheathing panel. All bidding Requests for Information (RFIs) shall be submitted online by 09/24/2025 at 5:00PM EDT for general bids. This Project is Being Electronically Bid and Hard Copy Bids Will Not Be Accepted. General bids and sub-bids shall be accompanied by a bid deposit that is not less than five (5%) of the greatest possible bid amount (including all alternates) and made payable to the SHARON HOUSING AUTHORITY. A bid deposit is not required for Projects advertised under $50,000. General bidders must agree to contract with minority and women business enterprises as certified by the Supplier Diversity Office (SDO). The combined participation benchmark reserved for such enterprises shall not be less than 13% of the final contract price including accepted alternates. Request for waivers must be sent to EOHLC (Chad.Howard@mass.gov) 5 calendar days prior to the General Bid date. The Workforce Participation benchmark is set at 6.9% for women and 15.3% for minorities
