Reference number: 20093877 Deadline for receipt of complaints 2025-09-22 Expected duration of the contract without options (in months) 6 Subject: Invitation to tender for the supply of de-icing salt 2025-2026 The Town of Cookshire-Eaton invites you to submit a bid for approximately 1,600 metric tonnes of de-icing salt including delivery, with 400 metric tonnes to be delivered by mid-October and the remainder to be provided by telephone call from the Town during the snow season. The price provided must include the transportation of 300 metric tons at Graviere Bouchard inc. located at 74 Jordan Hill Road in Cookshire-Eaton, J0B 1M0. The remaining 1,300 metric tons will be transported to the Cookshire-Eaton municipal garage site, located at 427 Smith Road in Cookshire-Eaton, J0B 1M0. Product specifications will also need to be included. The payment to the successful bidder for the first 400 metric tons delivered in October will be made in 2 installments: 33% in December 2025 and 67% in January 2026. The rest of the material will be paid normally on delivery billing. If for the first 400 metric tons of de-icing salt, the bidder cannot offer payment in two installments as requested, then indicate your payment policy in your response letter presenting the price for your product. The submission must be sealed and marked on the envelope with the words 'DE-ICING SALT SUPPLY SUBMISSION 2025-2026' as well as the name of the bidder.
