The village of lisle ("Village") seeks to enter into a contract ("Contract") with a qualified individual(s) or firm(s) ("Contractor") for crack sealing services at various locations throughout the village. The work shall consist of all necessary equipment and labor for cleaning and sealing of any cracks, voids or joints 2" (50 mm) in width or less with asphalt cement reinforced by polypropylene fibers.. All bids shall be accompanied by a bid bond, certified or cashier's check made payable to the village of lisle for not less than five percent of the bid amount. No proposals or bids will be considered unless accompanied by such bond or check. All work under this contract is subject to the illinois prevailing wage act, 820 ilcs 130/0.01 et seq. A prevailing wage determination has been made by the illinois department of labor for public works projects in dupage county and can be accessed by computer at online. The village of lisle reserves the right to waive all technicalities, to accept or reject any or all bids, to accept only portions of a proposal and reject the remainder without disclosure for any reason. Failure to make such a disclosure will not result in accrual of any right, claim or cause of action by any bidder against the village of lisle.
