Oppd-rebid Jones Street Station Oil Containment Site Improvements, Omaha, Nebraska Above Items Include Shipping and Handling to the Site, and Other Items Incidental Work Indicated on Plans and Specifications. Project includes the following: Contractor is responsible for installation of a new oil water separator (OWS), underground pumping tank, and storm process water discharge lines. Project includes construction of site improvements to enhance compliance and operational improvements related to site oil spills. Additional improvements include concrete replacement, trench installation, and secondary containment wall installation. Bid Alternate A includes secondary containment walls at four locations. Bid Alternate B includes costs associated with necessary removal and disposal of abandoned duct bank segment located adjacent to OWS area contingent upon field necessity andOwner authorization. Bid Alternate C includes costs associated with unknown contaminated soil disposal encountered during excavation and directed to be removed by Owner Questions due from Bidders (Submit via QuestCDN) 11/25/2025 5:00 P.M. ELECTRONICALLY SUBMITTED . WORK COVERED BY CONTRACT DOCUMENTS A. The Work of Project is defined by the Contract Documents and includes, but is not limited to, the following:Installation of an Owner-provided new oil water separator (OWS), Ownerprovided new Underground Pumping Tank (PST), and storm process water discharge lines and other Work indicated in the Contract Documents. This project also includes construction of site improvements to enhance compliance and operational improvements related to site oil spills. Additional improvements include concrete replacement, trench installation, and secondary containment wall installation. Bid Security Shall Be Furnished in Accordance With the Instruction to Bidders. Check(S) or Bond(S) Shall Be Made Payable to Omaha Public Power District, as Security That the Bidder(S) to Whom the Award(S) Are Made Will Enter Into Contract to Build the Improvements Bid Upon and Furnish the Required Bonds and Insurance. Each Successful Bidder Shall Supply a Performance Bond and a Payment Bond Executed by a Corporate Surety Licensed in the State of Nebraska in an Amount Equal to 100% Percent of the Contract Price as Part of the Contract. Nondiscrimination in Employment-bidders on This Work Will Be Required to Comply With the President's Executive Order No. 11246. Requirements for Bidders and Contractors Under This Order Are Explained in the Specifications. Oppd Reserves the Right to Accept Any Bid Which It Deems Most Advantageous to Them, and to Reject Any and All Bids Submitted, and to Hold Bids for Consideration for 60 Days After the Bids Are Open.
