Question Deadline 10/01/2025 The following is a general scope of work (sow) organized by trade to allow Participation from multiple vendors. Contractors may submit bids for one or more Trades. The district reserves the right to award the project in whole or in parts. 1a. Bus lot expansion o Remove existing fencing and other fixtures for possible reuse. o Remove parking stops & steel pipe and stack in designated area o Clear and grade the designated area for expansion of the bus/white fleet lot. o Remove Hackberry on NE corner. o Provide erosion control as necessary during construction (approx. 425' of silt fence) o Recut valley (NE) - move over approximately 10 ft. Rework fill for parking and proper drainage. Compact & water-in o Rework and clean drains on south side (East) of existing road for proper drainage. o Cap off & unhook water & electric o Saw cut & take out approximately 60'-70' of curb & haul off. o Pave back curb & a 10'x30' entryway with radius 6" thick, #4 rebar, 16" c&c o Excavate approximately 6"-10" on approximately 80,000 sqft. & haul off what is not needed for fill or dress-up. Water & roll-in for compaction which will be subgrade. o Install 6" of base material (state grade limestone road base - TXDOT 247) on approximately 80,000 sqft - water & roll-in o Install approximately 2" of 1" & down clean rock on 80,000 sqft. 1b. Dumpster Pad (10'x30') o Saw cut, tear out and haul out approximately 40 ft. of curb o Pave back 2'-10 ft. radius and pave back a 10'x30' apron 6' thick w/ #4 rebar and 16'"c&c with a 1' by 1' beam at 1 to 10' o Install 8'x30' steel pipe for water drainage with concrete headers on each side o Excavate down approximately 10" and utilize dirt where needed for subgrade; water & roll-in for compaction o Install 6' of rip rap and compact in, then 8' of base material; water and roll-in o Use dirt that was cut out for sloping off of base on edges 2. Fencing for expanded Bus Lot and Dumpster Pad o Remove existing fence (for reuse at dumpsters) - approx. 725 ft. o Furnish and install 8' fencing (new for bus lot and reused from current project for dumpsters). o Match existing district fencing in material, height, and style where feasible. o Include gates for vehicle entry/exit as directed by district. 2a. Fencing for expanded Bus Lot o Approximately 1050 linear ft. (new fencing) o 2 25' rolling gates 2b. Fencing for Dumpster Pad o Approximately 135 linear ft. (reuse old fencing) o 2 15' gates o 1 walk thru gate 3. Structural Steel / Metal Cover for Busses and White Fleet (in Bus Lot) o Design, supply, and install open metal cover structure for bus/white fleet parking. o Finish to be primed/painted or galvanized for weather resistance. o Structure should provide overhead protection, with open sides for ventilation and maneuverability. o Meet all applicable building codes and wind load requirements for Navarro County, Texas. o Finish to be primed/painted or galvanized for weather resistance. 3a. Bus Awning o 66'w x 50'd x 14' h with short wall o Built for pull-through access 3b. White Fleet Awning o 60'w x 24'd x 11' h with short wall o Built for back-in (will be installed against perimeter fencing)
