Demolition and site work for a municipal facility in Corsicana, Texas. Completed plans call for the demolition of a municipal facility; and for site work for a municipal facility.
405 East Collin Street Demolition Bids are invited for the items of work including, but not limited to: Demolition of existing structure including removal of foundation (approx. 17,025 sf) The City of Corsicana reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any informalities in the bidding. Bids may be held for a period not to exceed thirty (30) days from the date of the bid opening for the purpose of reviewing the bids and investigating the bidders' qualifications prior to contract award. Questions should be directed to the office of the Engineering Department, 200 N. 12th Street, Corsicana, Texas 75110 (903-654-4891). Contractor must demolish and remove the entire structure including concrete foundation, clean all trash & debris, fill any voids resulting from the demolition with appropriate fill dirt as approved by the City Engineer and level the property to the point that stormwater will drain properly. Contractor shall survey the condition of the building carefully before submitting any bid to ensure that the bid price covers the entire scope of work required. Contact the Engineering Department for access to the interior of the building. An existing 2500 gallon ink tank in the rear of the building is to be removed with the demolition. Completion- 20 working days
