Sewer manholes c. Sewer service laterals d. Existing flow management/ bypass pumping for installation of new sanitary sewer pipes, manholes and laterals 2. New Water System: a. Water main, valves and hydrants b. Water services c. Disinfection of water mains and appurtenances d. Removal and disposal or abandonment of existing water main, valves and services. e. Description: Intro: The City of Winter Haven is soliciting bids from interested licensed General Contractors with a valid State of Florida Underground Contractor's license for the Remediation Area 6A North & South Septic-to-Sewer Conversion. This project consists of constructing potable water main, gravity sewer main and low-pressure force main in the Lake Hartridge Drive. East neighborhood near the intersection of Lake Alfred Rd. (Hwy 17) and Inman Dr. (North Section) and Avenues X, Y and Z North West Located in the southeast section of Lake Hartridge (South section) in Winter Haven, Florida. Any contract awarded under this Invitation to Bid is expected to be funded in part by a grant from Polk Regional Water Cooperative and the Florida Department of Environmental Protection. It is imperative that Respondents examine and become familiar with the grant requirements. Qualifications: Vendors shall be Florida licensed General Contractor or Underground Utility Contractor. Sub-Contractors shall be Florida Licensed contractors as required by applicable trades. Vendors shall identify subcontractors that are providing services requiring a license under Florida law.
