Site work, paving and renovation of a mixed-use development in Vancouver, Washington. Completed plans call for the renovation of a pre-engineered storage facility; for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; and pre-engineered storage facility.
The project consists of recladding and reroofing an existing pre-engineered metal building, including the installation of new preformed metal wall and roofing panels, new insulation with interior scrim for the walls and roof, adjusted penetration locations with a new penetration trim package, and the replacement of hollow metal doors. The scope also includes the installation of new concrete curbing and base trim, full replacement of all perimeter metal components such as gutters, downspouts, and rake flashing on a like-for-like basis. Engineer's Estimate: $82,602.50 ~ $91,297.50 *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The following project will be accomplished as a SMALL WORKS PROJECT and will be subject to prevailing wage laws. All quotations must be submitted on this form. This is not an order - these are quote documents. Please read all information on the instruction page before preparing quotation. All bidders must meet the requirements of the Small Works Roster prior to award. Apparent low bidders must meet the requirement of the Small Works Contract (attached) within 10 days of the quote opening. The project shall be physically completed within 40 working days from Notice to Proceed issuance. The PORT OF VANCOUVER reserves the right to cancel this request or reject any and all quotations received or to waive any informalities and irregularities if in the best interest of the Port. The bid bond, or acceptable form is to be executed by the bidder and a surety company licensed to do business in Washington, unless the bid is accompanied by a cashier's check. No such bid bond will be required where a cashier's check is submitted in lieu of a bond. The amount of the bond or cashier's check shall be not less than five percent (5%) of the total amount bid and may be shown in dollars or on a percentage basis. If a surety company form is submitted, please attach the form to the Bid Documents submitted. Failure to comply with this provision will render the bid non-responsive and therefore void. This shall be executed by the successful bidder and a surety company, licensed to do business in the State of Washington, on the required Port of Vancouver form within ten (10) days after the award date. Pursuant to RCW 39.08.010, the contractor may, in lieu of a performance and payment bond, choose to have ten (10) percent in retainage withheld during the course of the contract if the project cost is less than $150,000.
