The heavily weathered boat ramp and docks within Seabreeze Park, under the Seabreeze Bridge, is located at 100 Seabreeze Boulevard, Daytona Beach, FL 32118. The current facility is decades old and requires frequent maintenance to keep it safe and operational. The existing fixed dock facility makes it difficult to launch, temporarily moor, and board a boat at certain tides. The existing 3.25-Ft wide concrete docks with a step-down configuration limits public accessibility. The new design will incorporate wide 7 Ft by 30 Ft concrete floating docks, to allow for tide fluctuations, and to meet current American with Disability Act requirements. New timber tending piers and gangways will provide access to the concrete floating docks. In conjunction with installing the new dock facilities, the boat ramp is to be removed and replaced. Work for this project to be completed as further described in the attached DRMP Plans dated November 2024 and governing regulatory permits. Contractor to acquire necessary permits from City to complete the project. Contractor will need to secure the work zone during construction to ensure safe operations of other sections of the park that are to remain open during the Contract period. The boat ramp, dock facilities and portions of the trailer parking will be closed to the public during the construction Addenda/Revisions/Question & Answers: Participants shall review all revisions and answers to published questions before submitting an offer.
