Description Snow removal Maritime Locations WRITTEN QUESTIONS DUE ........... September 17, 2025 RESPONSES TO QUESTIONS POSTED .... September 18, 2025 CONTRACT COMMENCEMENT ............ November 22, 2025 Contractor's snow removal services shall commence when snow accumulations have reached a depth of two inches (2") and the total depth forecast is four inches (4") or more, unless otherwise noted in the RFP scope of services by individual locations or directed by the Property Manager. Scope of Services for Flynn Cruiseport Boston :- Remove snow from MPA property in front of the Cruise Terminal. Remove snow from MPA property on the pier. The ability to pile and haul snow from the property and store offsite. The ability to spread salt/sand on BFCT property. (MPA will provide material) Sidewalks will be cleared by MPA personnel unless otherwise instructed. Operators will be required to possess a TWIC and Maritime ID when a ship is in Port. Operators must have the required license to operate the such equipment as it pertains to MGL The following Equipment will be required as requested by the Terminal Manager or his/her designee. (2) pickup trucks w/ plow and spreader (2) 10 wheel dumps with plows (3) 5-7 yard. Loaders Scope of Services for Fish Pier Minimum equipment One (1) 4x4 w/ plow (driven by supervisor) Two (2) 12' plows w/ spreader Four (4) Front End Loaders Four (4) 10 wheel dumps Plow and salt entire Pier; around buildings, streetside, waterside, and parking lots. Pile and haul off site. Plow and salt the following parking lots; D3 on Summer Street, A2 on Congress Street, H on Port Lane, and K on Haul Road & Congress Street. Plow and salt the following streets; Northern Ave., Seaport Blvd., Congress St., D St. north and south, Harborview Lane, Park Lane, Port Lane, Starboard Lane, Haul Road, Pumphouse Road as well as Codfish Way, Swordfish Way and half of Shoreline Rd around the Boston Sword and Tuna Building at MMT. Pile in strategic area and haul off site if needed. Snow shall be hauled to a Massport designated area. Contractor's snow removal services shall commence as directed by the Property Manager. Scope of Services for Bremen Street Park:-The award of this site will be on an as required basis. Massport will typically plow these areas. Outsource plowing will only be called upon should equipment fail. 1. Contractor shall remove snow from all bicycle paths, walkways, stairs and pedestrian paths. This length totals approximately 93,994 feet consisting of: 580' @ 6' wide 5,855' @ 8' wide 2,670' @ 10' wide 248' @ 12' wide 145' @ 14' wide 613' @ 16' wide 120' @ 18' wide 2. Contractor shall spread ice melt, as needed, on all bicycle paths, walkways, stairs and pedestrian paths. The minimum equipment that the Authority shall require of the Contractor shall be as follows: 1. Two (2) Bobcats w/snow brooms and plow attachments Scope of Services for Piers Park/Pier One and Pier Two :- The Contractor shall perform snow plowing and snow removal services for the Authority at the East Boston Pier One Facility, One South Marginal Street, East Boston, Massachusetts. These services shall include, but are not limited to, the following: 1. Plow and remove snow from the surrounding paved surfaces and apron areas of the Authority's sites at Pier One, the Piers Park parking lot, the Teamsters' Driving School lot and the roadway between Pier One and Piers Park, all located in East Boston, Massachusetts, as designated and directed by the Authority's Property Manager. 2. Sand & salt roadways, as required. Massport shall provide sand and salt. 3. In the event snow cover or major piles accumulate within these areas, the Authority's Property Manager shall direct the Contractor to remove snow piles with a dump truck and front-end loader to an alternative location, to be designated by the Authority. The minimum equipment that the Authority shall require of the Contractor shall be as follows: a. One (1) Front End Loader (4 yard); b. One (1) Truck w/ 12 foot Plows; and c. One (1) Salt/Sand Spreader. d. Two (2) Bobcats w/snow brooms and plow attachments
