Renovation of a mixed-use development in Trenton, Illinois. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
Project consists of construction of District Wide Door Replacement.. Bids will be based on a single lump sum general construction contract. Bids shall include not less than the Prevailing hourly wage rate determined by the Illinois Department of Labor. Bid Security is required in the amount of ten percent (10%) of Proposal, made payable unconditionally to the Owner. Security shall be certified check, cashier's check or bid bond issued by surety licensed to conduct business in the State of Illinois. Performance Bond and Payment Bond in the amount of 100 percent of the contract and the payment of all obligations arising thereunder using a form similar to the AIA 312 Form, or one acceptable to Owner. The Performance Bond will become a part of the Contract. The failure of the successful bidder to enter into contract and supply the required bond and Certificates of Insurance within ten (10) days after the prescribed forms are presented for signature, or within such extended period as the Owner may grant, shall constitute a default.
