The contractor shall provide all management, supervision, labor, personnel, transportation, materials, equipment, supplies, and disposal except as otherwise specified, necessary to provide services at the LaCroix Ranger District office located in Cook, MN. All work shall be performed in accordance with this statement of work and all federal, state, and local laws and regulations. The LaCroix Ranger District within the Superior National Forests has a need for modifying, insulating and heating the district fire engine garage. The current garage space is unheated, and the overhead door is too small to park their fire engine safely. During cold weather the engine is moved to a different location to protect from freezing. A need has been identified to keep the fire engine at the LaCroix Ranger District office year-round in a heated space so that the engine is accessible and so that maintenance can be performed on the engine when necessary. The LaCroix Ranger District within the Superior National Forest requires modifications to its fire engine garage to allow for year-round storage and maintenance of its fire engine. The current garage is unheated and has an overhead door that is too small to safely accommodate the fire engine, necessitating relocation during cold weather to prevent freezing. The project includes insulating and heating the garage and modifying the overhead door to ensure the fire engine can be parked and serviced on-site throughout the year. This construction effort is subject to the Davis-Bacon and Related Acts (DBRA) and is set aside for small businesses. The project is located within the Superior National Forest at the LaCroix Ranger District office at the following address: USFS LaCroix Ranger District 320 Hwy 53 North Cook, MN 55723 Between $50,000 and $100,000 The Contractor shall begin performance within 10 calendar days and complete it within 21 calendar days.
