Renovation of a medical facility in Cook, Minnesota. Completed plans call for the renovation of a medical facility.
Cook Hospital Endo Redesign a certified check or bidders bond in the amount of five percent (5%) of the net base bid amount, payable to the order of Cook Hospital & Care Center, as warranty that the successful bidder will enter into a contract and furnish the usual Bonds (Performance Bond and Labor and Material Payment Bond) as required by the Specifications within ten (10) days after Notice of Award of Contract. No Bidder shall modify, withdraw or cancel their Bid or any part thereof for sixty (60) days after the date designated for the receipt of bids. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any irregularities and informalities therein and to award the Contract to other than the lowest bidder, if in their discretion the interest of the project will be best served thereby. The Project consists of the renovation and construction of existing building areas in the Endo area(s) on the Cook Hospital Campus. Project scope includes but is not limited to: Demolition, Concrete Patching as required for MEP, Miscellaneous Steel as required, Minimal Carpentry, Thermal Properties, Openings, Finishes, Specialties, Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing, etc. Design intent is to match that of existing conditions/programs for areas/processes of patching/fill-ins, etc. Utilize applicable products/materials as such. See drawings. 1. All Work required for the construction of the Project shall be performed by the Contractor to meet the requirements of the Minnesota Building Code. The mechanical designs shall comply with all applicable Federal, State, and Local building Code Requirements. All work to conform to all codes and regulations. Contractors are responsible for familiarizing themselves with the existing systems. The Electrical designs shall comply with all applicable Federal, State, and Local Building Code Requirements. All work to conform to all codes and regulations. Contractor is responsible for familiarizing themselves with the existing systems.
