The work will be done under one prime contract that includes: General, Concrete, Masonry, Carpentry, Flooring, Sheet Metal, Glazers, Painting/Drywall, Fire Suppression, Plumbing, HVAC, Security, Electrical, and Low Voltage construction. B. The following summary is a general guide to the scope of work. It should not be construed as a detailed list of work included in the contract. 1.) Create two (2) short-term holding cells in existing barracks building; one accessible and one not. 2.) Cells to be constructed of concrete block following ACA design standards for holding cells. 3.) The existing hallway accessing the location will be hardened. 4.) Mechanical systems will be added to serve the renovated spaces and provide required ventilation of the holding cells due to limited capacity of the existing. 5.) Other existing systems will be modified to fit the new configuration. This solicitation includes insurance requirements.
