This is a service / maintenance or supply contract in Cook, Minnesota. Contact the soliciting agency for additional information.
The Department of Natural Resources is seeking bids for labor, equipment, materials, tools, transportation, and incidentals necessary to provide, load, haul and spread approximately 1,600 Cubic Yards of Class 5 aggregate material on segments of the Larson Lake Forest Road located in Itasca County. After graveling and compaction, the entire 1.7-mile project length is to be graded. Garrett Mann, Project Supervisor (218) 542-2951 All responses must be submitted electronically through the Swift Portal. No e-mail or faxed responses will be accepted. Failure to respond to latest event version may result in bid rejection. Please be aware that there are attachments to this event. The vendor is responsible for reviewing all attachments and complying with all requirements to this Event. DNR will be the determining factor if vendor meets specifications. All questions should be directed to the buyer listed in this event. Unit price must include all costs such as labor, materials, tools, transportation, equipment, sales tax, use tax and all else necessary for completion of the project. Direct Pay Permit 1114 does not apply to this project. Award--Item, Group, Total: Responses that do not comply with the solicitation will be considered nonresponsive and will be rejected. The award will be made to the lowest responsible vendor meeting the specifications and all terms and conditions. The State reserves the right to award items separately, by grouping items, or by total, whichever is deemed most advantageous to the State. 2 Expiration date: June 30, 2025, or until all obligations have been satisfactorily fulfilled, whichever occurs first. Responses that exceed $50,000.00 must be accompanied by a surety bond of a surety company duly authorized to do business in the State of Minnesota; in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total amount of the response, which is submitted as a solicitation security conditioned upon the Responder entering into a contract with the State of Minnesota in accordance with the terms of the solicitation. Responders must upload a copy of their surety bond as prompted in the Event. The State reserves the right to require the Contractor provide the original surety bond to the State. If such request is made, the Contractor must submit the original surety bond within seven (7) calendar days upon such request. If the original surety bond is not received within (7) calendar days of request, the State may take action including rejection of the response or cancellation of the contract for cause. If the solicitation security is in the form of a certified check, cashier's check, or money order made payable to the State of Minnesota, it must be received by the Contracting Agency at the address identified within this Event in a clearly marked and sealed envelope no later than the due date and time indicated in the Event. Late submissions will result in rejection of your response. Facsimile or copies of a certified check, cashier's check, or money order will not be accepted. The solicitation security submitted is conditioned upon the responder's entering into a contract with the State of Minnesota in accordance with the terms of the solicitation. It is agreed that said solicitation security of the successful responder will constitute liquidated damages, not a penalty, for the failure or refusal of the successful responder to execute and deliver the contractual documents, in a correct form, within ten (10) calendar days after receipt of the contract documents. One reason that Revenue allows for an exemption is that the Non-Minnesota Contractor will be providing a Payment Bond and Performance Bond to the government contracting agency. Such bonds are required for this Contract. The contractor must file a separate application for exemption for each project.
