The Virginia Department of Transportation (herein referred to as "VDOT") is soliciting bids from qualified firms to furnish and deliver aluminized type II steel arch pipe and bands for the Route 607 Madison County culvert replacement project . Any bid in response to this solicitation shall be valid for sixty (60) days. At the end of the sixty (60) days the bid may be withdrawn at the written request of the bidder. If the bid is not withdrawn at that time it remains in effect until an award is made or the solicitation is canceled. No Pre-Bid Conference will be held . Any questions regarding this invitation for bid shall be addressed to Toni Thomas, Procurement Manager, via email at toni.thomas@vdot.virginia.gov. The issuing office shall determine whether any addendum should be issued as a result of any questions or other matters raised. Provide questions no later than 11:30 AM EST on September 11, 2025. The Commonwealth reserves the right to inspect bidder's physical facilities prior to award to satisfy questions regarding the bidder's capabilities. The Commonwealth further reserves the right to reject any bid if the evidence submitted by, or investigations of, such bidder fails to satisfy the Commonwealth that such bidder is properly qualified to carry out the obligations of the contract and to provide the services and/or furnish the goods contemplated therein.
