The scope of services will include full Construction Contracting Services for the project specified during the process of construction and warranty period to the State as per the Advertisement for Bid. Specific tasks to be performed by the Contractor include those generally performed by the construction community where the Contractor is the prime vendor to the State. CSDB would like to hire a General Contractor experienced with elevator and wheelchair lift projects. Colorado Residents will have preference. This project includes: Replacing the existing hydraulic wheelchair lifts in Adams Hall and Stone Hall with new hydraulic lifts. Modernizing elevators at the Administration Building, Brown Hall, and Ritter Hall. Modernizing the elevator at Argo Hall which requires reconstruction of the concrete pit to meet current codes. The existing shaft, supports and hydraulic jackshaft will be reused and a new hoist beam will need to be installed. Any asbestos abatement will be done with a separate Owner contract.
