Columbia County solicits interest from consulting firms with expertise and interest in developing and implementing Comprehensive Plans for Columbia County, the City of Dayton and the Town of Starbuck. This project is funded through a grant from the Washington State Department of Commerce (Commerce) and the jurisdictions have pooled funds to hire one consultant The contract term ends June 30, 2027. Project Description: The consultant will draft an update to the existing Comprehensive Plans in accordance with the Growth Management Act using the Periodic Update Checklist for Fully-Planning Counties, published by the Washington State Department of Commerce. The consultant will assist county and city staff with tasks such as organizing and facilitating public meetings, preparing informational materials, and providing the required materials within grant deadlines Questions may be directed to Dena Martin dena_martin@co.columbia.wa.us.
