The Town of Herbert is initiating the decommissioning of its municipal landfill in alignment with current environmental and engineering standards, alongside the development of a new transfer station facility. The scope of work includes full site preparation and excavation, followed by grading and compaction to ensure long-term stability. The project also involves the construction of reinforced concrete retaining walls, installation of drainage systems, strategic backfilling, and final site restoration to meet environmental compliance and future usability. The successful contractor will possess demonstrated expertise in civil construction, environmental remediation, and project coordination. Adherence to regulatory requirements and a commitment to minimizing disruption throughout the project will be essential.
