The work planned under this contract includes, but is not limited to: - Excavation and backfilling for the construction of granular road foundations; - Removal of sections of paved or concrete streets that need to be redone; - Supply of the granular materials required for the work. The contractor is responsible for producing or purchasing these materials. Whether through local production (using equipment to be provided), purchase from local contractors who produce aggregates, or maritime transport, the Contractor must supply the granular materials for this project, whether through production, purchase, or maritime transport. - Construction of a fenced storage area; - Adjustment of domestic sewer manhole covers (sections), water valve box covers (sections) and all other accessories present in the work area; - Stabilisation of shoulders and restoration of surrounding areas; - Adjustment of driveways to finished levels using new granular materials; - Asphalt paving work on identified streets; - Work at intersections, including localised demolition of localized of existing paving/concrete, - Preparation, transportation (mobilization and demobilization) and operation of a portable or mobile paving plant to manufacture the bituminous mixture required for carrying out the paving work, for all the streets in the northern village of Kuujjuaraapik that are identified to the project; - The contractor must include in his bid price all costs related to the transportation of machinery necessary for the completion of the work.
