The City of Meriden seeks Statements of Qualifications and Proposals from architectural and/or engineering firms licensed to practice in the State of Connecticut to perform a facility needs assessment on numerous City buildings. The purpose of the project is to ascertain the present condition of these buildings and develop a 15-year, long-range plan to address deficiencies. The selected firm will conduct a detailed condition assessment and perform a capital renewal analysis of the facilities and recommend a facility management web-based system for use by the City's facilities and management personnel. The program software should effectively systematize maintenance and use facility condition and cost data to facilitate capital reinvestment planning and integration of physical assets. The City of Meriden's Facilities Department is is seeking services from qualified, certified and licensed engineering firms to conduct a three (3) phase Facility Needs Assessment for City Buildings. Commencing with phase one (1) to be done in fiscal year 2026. The right is reserved to reject any or all proposals, in whole or in part, to award any item, group of items, or total bid, and to waive informality or technical defects, if it is deemed to be in the best interest of the City of Meriden. No proposer may withdraw its proposal within ninety (90) days of the date of the proposal opening. The City of Meriden is an Affirmative Action/Equal Opportunity Employer.
