Site work and asbestos abatement for a municipal facility in Marquette, Michigan. Completed plans call for site work for a municipal facility; and for asbestos abatement for a municipal facility.
Owner will hire the work themselves and did not disclose the designated contractor. The Marquette County Land Bank Authority is hereby soliciting proposals from qualified vendors for the asbestos abatement of the commercial property, Demolition is also planned for this structure. The demolition has already been bid out and will be awarded under a separate contract. The parcel ID number is 52-52-002-201-30. Since the scope of this RFP is for asbestos abatement only, the need for subcontractors is not anticipated. The MCLBA will be contracting separately for a final air clearance post-abatement, as required. However, the abatement contractor may be responsible for personal air monitoring during abatement, and this service may be subcontracted. The selected contractor will be responsible for all subcontracted work. Subcontractors must be approved in advance by the MCLBA and provide proof of insurance coverage the same as the General Abatement Contractor.
