Site work and new construction of a municipal facility in Burnaby, British Columbia. Working plans call for the construction of a 5,243-square-foot, one-story above grade municipal facility; and for site work for a municipal facility.
The purpose of this Request for Proposal ("RFP") is to invite Proposals from professional, qualified and experienced firms to select a Proponent to provide progressive design build services for the redevelopment of the Burnaby Animal Shelter, as further detailed herein. The City is looking to select a qualified Design-Builder for the Animal Shelter Project which will deliver a new facility comparable in scale and function to the existing shelter (approximately 5,243 sf.) with the following features: a single-storey or two-storey animal shelter building; an exterior space which comprises of exterior dog runs, covered livestock area and exterior "catio" space; parking stalls, and 1 loading stall. The existing Animal Shelter building should be demolished, and a new building should be developed at 3202 Norland Avenue. Documents can be obtained from https://burnaby.bidsandtenders.ca/
